Virtual consultations of the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria

Hand over keyboardIt was recently announced the possible launch of the update process of the new strategy of the Global Fund, which, on this occasion, will include virtual discussion forums. The launch of the consultation was defined as “an alliance of the 21st century, which works closely with a wide range of partners, from Governments that run program, donors, civil society, international development organizations, the private sector, to the communities living with the three diseases or are affected by them”.

This new update of the strategy seeks to take the maximum technology, and its speed to connect with any part of the world. Now more than ever the support will be in real time, allowing you to develop and implement effective programs based on evidence in order to accelerate the end of the epidemics of AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria.

The online forum is an integral part of this wide consultation process. It is multilingual and open to all those interested. It has a unique position to get all sectors of society involved in an inclusive and participatory way to collectively shape the future work of the Global Fund.

Online Forum began on April 20, and it will be available for a period of 10 weeks. All interested parties are invited to discuss the nine high-level strategic thematic areas of the Global Fund.

This forum is an opportunity for all of us to help develop the strategy for the Global Fund and ensure the prompt elimination of the three diseases and global health.

If you want to participate in the forum discussions you need to visit http://theglobalfund-eforum.org/consultation/es/join and leave your contact information.
