Saving lives one by one, AID FOR AIDS Venezuela’s first event of the year

Thanks to the support of Rotary International Club, on March 14th, AIDS FOR AIDS Venezuela will be hosting a cocktail event for friends and supporters of the organization at the famous venue Le Club at 7:00 pm at San Ignacio Mall in Caracas, Venezuela. Tickets are on sale now.

The event, which kicks off the “Saving Lives One by One Together” campaign, is a vital fundraising event to benefit AID FOR AIDS Venezuela and their diverse programs such as, Access to Treatment, Prevention and Education, and Public Advocacy, that operate within the country.

The event will be a place where public figures of the Venezuelan and international society will gather to support AID FOR AIDS. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet AID FOR AIDS’ Ambassador of HIV prevention, Miss Universe 2009 Stefanía Fernández, and the founder of the organization Jesus Aguais, who was named CNN “Hero” in 2007 and recognized as one of the “100 Most Influential Latinos in the United States” by People en Español magazine.

The soirée is not only an opportunity to support the fight against the HIV epidemic in Venezuela, attendees will also spend the evening dancing to the intoxicating beats of live performers DJs Taty y Leonel Rojas.

AID FOR AIDS Venezuela, affiliate office of AID FOR AIDS International, provides services to improve the quality of life for Venezuelans living with HIV. The organization focuses on the empowerment of people living with HIV, their families and caretakers, health professionals and the community at large through programs of access to treatment, health education, prevention strategies, public advocacy, leadership building, and capacity development for individuals and organizations.
