At AID FOR AIDS, we take HIV prevention seriously. That’s why we continue to create new educational workshops and organize special activities that will help foster a broader culture of prevention and responsibility. Most recently, AID FOR AIDS teamed up with The Latino Commission on AIDS and designed a workshop aimed at men who have sex with men (MSM) between the ages of 18 and 40. The workshop’s objectives were to provide clear information about safer sexual practices, condom use and negotiation strategies, and to discuss ways that we can all spread the word about safer sex in our communities.
Thanks to our friends at The Latino Commission on AIDS, the workshop was a huge success. Our beneficiaries obtained the tools and information needed to have a safe and healthy sex life, and engaged in a dynamic, informed discussion that reinforced the core prevention strategies of the workshop.
