AID FOR AIDS International and Parsons The New School For Design have partnered in an effort to create a Christmas/holiday card to benefit AFAI.
The campaign will feature a competition among the school’s Graphic Design students, whose design submissions will be due no later than October 26th. The designs will be reviewed by a panel of three judges, and the three contest winners will be announced during the first week of November.
Competitors will be designing the front of an AFAI Christmas/holiday card whose theme will be “A World Without AIDS.” The three winning designs will be incorporated in our holiday fundraising initiative.
In past years, AFAI’s holiday cards have featured drawings from our children in Latin America and the Caribbean, which subsequently became the inspiration for the Marc Jacobs-designed AID FOR AIDS t-shirt collection. You can view that collection at: MARC JACOBS
“The response so far from the Parsons community has been tremendous,” says AFAI founder and executive director Jesus Aguais. “The students see this as a unique opportunity to get their work out into the world, and at the same time contribute to a worthy cause..”
