Mark Your Calendars! Nuela Brunch To Benefit AFAI Starts at 12:00 PM This Sunday.

As we enter the 4th weekend in May, Nuela, the acclaimed Chelsea restaurant located at 43W 24th Street, will host another brunch this Sunday and will donate 10% of the proceeds to AID FOR AIDS International. This week, the American Cancer Society joins Nuela and the AFAI family for this social gathering.
The menu will feature South American-inspired creations. Guests will be able to choose from a unique, yet diverse selection of breakfast and lunch delicacies available on the a-la-carte menu. An option of a prix-fixe menu will also be available for $24 and for people choosing to add unlimited mimosas, an additional $9 charge will apply.
This will be the fourth Sunday brunch held at Nuela this month in support of AID FOR AIDS. A benefit brunch on May 1, hosted by dot429, the LGBT professional networking group, honored fashion designer and AFAI board
member Narciso Rodriguez. The second Sunday brunch at Nuela honored mothers on their own special day.
Last week, the brunch was held in celebration of the AIDS WALK New York.
Nuela, under the direction of chef Adam Schop, serves some of the finest South American cuisine in New York. Its long list of admirers includes New York Times restaurant critic Sam Sifton, who raved about the food and the atmosphere in a review published last fall. Just let yourself sit back and take in the Nuela scene, Sifton advised readers, and you’ll find yourself “drifting out of Manhattan into…an imaginary Mexico City (or) a Caracas dream state. A vacation in the middle of Manhattan. ”
Sounds like the ideal place to hang out awhile, after a long walk in the city. So come and join the AFA team for brunch and help us celebrate a great day in New York.
