This year, AID FOR AIDS once again partnered with Parsons the New School for Design to hold a contest in order to find the best possible design for our holiday cards.

The contest was a wonderful success and we received almost 100 different design submissions. The winners will be featured on our yearly holiday cards, whose proceeds will be used to support the lifesaving missions of AID FOR AIDS. We want to thank all the students who worked so hard on their designs, as well as Parsons Faculty members Victoria Benatar and Julia Gorton, for leading the project, and Emily Wardwell and Katarzyna Gruda for choosing the winning designs along with the AID FOR AIDS staff. The breadth and creativity of this year’s competing designs were fantastic, so after a great deal of deliberation, five winning designs were chosen to be featured on this year’s Christmas cards.
The winning designs were created by:

Jennifer Shin
Joamir Salcedo
Kim Dumo
Robert McConnell
Joely Saravia

In years past, the contest has led to the students’ designs being exposed to a wide audience, including our corporate sponsors, like Marc Jacobs, as well as many of our supporters and those lucky enough to be on their Christmas card lists. The sale of the designs will begin this coming week, and we hope to make it our most successful year ever. A heartfelt thanks to all the entrants, and we look forward to soon being able to announce sponsors and buyers for the awesome winning designs.
