AID FOR AIDS to attend the White House Forum on Hispanics/Latinos and HIV & AIDS

New York, NY.  July 9, 2012. AID FOR AIDS International will attend the White House Forum on Hispanics/Latinos and HIV & AIDS on July 10th, weeks before the XIX International AIDS Conference scheduled to take place in Washington, DC from July 22nd to the 27.

This Forum, coordinated by the White House Office of National AIDS Policy, will focus on several critical issues regarding the implementation of the National HIV/AIDS Strategy that was launched in July 2010.

Key topics addressed at the event include: research and programmatic investments on HIV and AIDS, strategies to reduce stigma and discrimination, capacity-building and technical assistance needs of organizations serving the Latino community, and best practices in the field, among others.

AID FOR AIDS will be represented by its Executive Director, Jesus Aguais.
