AID FOR AIDS and The Legal Aid Society offer legal services to immigrants in NYC

logo5On the first Tuesday of every month, AID FOR AIDS teams up with The Legal Aid Society to provide legal services to our beneficiaries, as well as to many immigrants living in New York City. Thanks to this partnership, we have been able to help a significant number of immigrants in NYC who do not have the necessary resources to obtain legal status in the United States.

AID FOR AIDS is thrilled with the bond we have created with the Legal Aid Society!

About The Legal Aid Society

The Legal Aid Society is the oldest and largest not-for-profit organization in the U.S. that offers free legal services for clients who cannot afford counsel. In 2008, with a staff of some 1,400 – including nearly 850 lawyers and 600 social workers, investigators, paralegals, and administrative staff – the Society handled 295,000 legal matters. The Society provides a range of civil, criminal, and juvenile rights services in each of New York’s five boroughs, through a network of offices and courthouses in 25 locations.
