AFA attended to the 24th International AIDS Conference!
Earlier this month, an AID FOR AIDS delegation traveled to Montreal, Canada to participate in the 24th International AIDS Conference (AIDS 2022) which took place from July 29 to August 2.
This was the first conference to be held in person after the COVID-19 pandemic, but it was also held virtually, so more people had more access to attend.
It was organized by the International AIDS Society, to bring together scientists, policy makers and activists to promote the scientific response, build global solidarity and enhance human dignity for all people with, and affected by HIV.
The call of those who attended led to increased education and advocacy efforts for a world in which HIV no longer poses a threat to public health and individual well-being.
Our team attended to strengthen alliances, always looking for ways to work together for people with HIV and offer treatment and services to people who do not have access to them. Our delegation left with new ideas, projects and resources to help people with HIV around the world.
